Early morning flights (before 8am) are the number one reason to book an airport hotel. Rather than a 3am alarm and a stressful drive, stay the night before and walk to the terminal refreshed.
Hotel + parking packages are almost always cheaper than booking separately. A room at a Premier Inn near Heathrow with 8 days parking can cost less than the parking alone at walk-up rates.
Most airport hotels offer free shuttle transfers to the terminal, running every 15-20 minutes from 4am onwards. Check shuttle times when booking if you have an early flight.
