You can walk to Liverpool John Lennon Airport's terminal from four of the car parks we sell there, and booked ahead, park and ride starts at £58.64 for eight days and on-airport parking at £77.44 (checked 7 November 2026). The nearest is Imagine, about 400 metres from the terminal. No shuttle to wait for at either end, which matters most on an early flight or when you land late.

Which Liverpool Airport car parks can you walk to the terminal from?

Four, as of 7 November 2026, all bookable through us:

Car parkHow far from the terminalWho says so
Imagine Outdoor Park and RideAbout 400 metres, around a 4-minute walkImagine
Long Stay, the airport's ownA 4 to 5 minute walkLiverpool John Lennon Airport
Skypark LiverpoolAbout 500 metres, a 5 to 10 minute walkThe car park's own listing
Park SmartInside the airport boundary; no walking time givenThe car park's own listing

Imagine works differently from the other three. You leave the car outside its reception, check in with your booking reference and hand over the keys, and the team parks it for you. At the other three you park the car yourself and keep your keys. Imagine is also the one operator in the list that we work with directly, a local company running its own car park in Speke, so your booking goes straight to them.

How much is parking within walking distance, booked ahead?

Every car park we sell at Liverpool, cheapest first, for the same 8-day stay:

Car parkType8 daysPer dayAlso paid on the day
Imagine Outdoor Park and RidePark and ride£58.64£7.33None
Skypark LiverpoolPark and ride£61.36£7.67None
Park SmartOn-airport£77.44£9.68None
Long StayOn-airport£77.44£9.68None
Imagine Meet and GreetMeet and greet£114.45£14.31£14.00 airport drop-off charge

Turning up without a booking costs a lot more. The airport's own Long Stay charges £170 for eight days at the barrier, then £30 for each extra 24 hours.

What if you would rather not carry your bags to the terminal?

Two ways, both from Imagine. Its car park has a transfer bus that takes about 90 seconds, for £3 paid at the car park. Or book Imagine Meet and Greet: a driver meets you in the airport's drop-off area opposite the terminal, takes your keys and brings the car back to the same place when you land. The airport charges £7 for up to 10 minutes in that drop-off area each time you use it, so £14 in all, paid to the airport.

Is Speke airport parking the same as Liverpool Airport parking?

Yes. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is in Speke, on the south side of Liverpool, and Imagine's car park is on the Skypark Industrial Estate in Speke too (sat nav L24 1YL). Every Speke airport car park on this page is a Liverpool John Lennon Airport car park.
