East Midlands Airport returned 13 car parks on our last live check, and on the same eight night stay the dearest costs 1.8 times the cheapest. Every figure below comes from our own price checks on 29 August 2026, booked about a month ahead unless stated.

How much does it cost to park at East Midlands Airport?

From about £8.87 a night, or £70.97 for a typical eight night trip, in the cheapest car park we found (on-airport). The most expensive option was £124.97. Short trips cost much more per night and long trips much less: three nights worked out at £18.99 a night, while fifteen nights dropped to £6.73.

What is the cheapest parking at East Midlands Airport?

On our last check the cheapest options at East Midlands were:

  • Jet Parks 2, £70.97 (£8.87 a night), Park Mark accredited
  • Winter Special Meet & Greet, £71.98 (£9.00 a night), Park Mark accredited
  • Jet Parks 1, £79.97 (£10.00 a night), Park Mark accredited
  • Long Stay 1, £80.97 (£10.12 a night), Park Mark accredited

Is meet and greet expensive at East Midlands?

Barely. The Winter Special Meet and Greet was £71.98 for eight nights against £70.97 for the cheapest car park you park in yourself. That is £1.01 to have someone take the car at the terminal and hand it back when you land. At most airports that gap is £25 or more, so East Midlands is the one place where meet and greet is close to a default rather than an upgrade.

How much is East Midlands Airport's official car park?

Jet Parks 2 came out at £70.97 for eight nights, which is £8.87 a night. You are parking on airport land with a short transfer, and at East Midlands that was actually the cheapest option available.

Why does East Midlands parking cost more per night for a short trip?

Because car parks price the space rather than the night. There is a fixed cost to taking a bay out of circulation at all, so the first few days carry most of it and every extra day is cheaper.

At East Midlands the cheapest car park worked out at £18.99 a night for three nights, £8.87 for eight and £6.73 for fifteen. That is the same car park in the same week of checking. It is why a nightly rate quoted without a length of stay attached to it tells you very little.

Does booking early make East Midlands Airport parking cheaper?

Yes, at East Midlands, and by a real amount. We priced the same eight night stay seven days out and thirty days out. Jet Parks 2 was £91.97 at seven days and £70.97 at thirty, a saving of £21.00 for booking earlier.

This matches what we see nationally. In our UK Airport Parking Price Index, booking a month ahead is meaningfully cheaper at only six of the sixteen airports we track, roughly flat at six and actually more expensive at four. What does run out close to the date is spaces rather than value, so book as soon as you can either way, and book a price you are happy with rather than waiting for one that may never come.

What is the difference between park and ride, on-airport and meet and greet?

On-airport means parking inside the airport, with a shorter walk or transfer. At East Midlands the cheapest on-airport option was £70.97.

Meet and greet means handing the keys over at the terminal. At East Midlands that was £71.98.
