Newcastle is unusual: it has three Aspire tiers rather than one lounge. Aspire Executive Lounge, Suite by Aspire and Luxe by Aspire, all run by the same operator in the same terminal at different levels of comfort and price. We sell from £46.99 an adult. Checked against live availability on 1 October 2026.
How many lounges are at Newcastle Airport?
Three, all Aspire, all in the main terminal. That is more choice than Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Bristol or East Midlands, which have one each, and it means the question at Newcastle is not whether to buy a lounge but which tier.
How much is the lounge at Newcastle Airport?
From £46.99 for one adult, pre-booked. The same price as Liverpool and Edinburgh, a little more than Birmingham at £43.99.
What time does the Newcastle lounge open and close?
The Aspire Executive Lounge opens at 04:00 every day through the winter months. Closing times vary by day, and this is the part worth reading twice:
- Monday, Thursday and Sunday: closes 21:00
- Tuesday and Wednesday: closes 20:00
- Friday: closes 21:30
- Saturday: closes 18:00
Suite by Aspire opens earlier, at 03:30. Winter hours apply January to March, November and December; April to October differs.
Why does the Saturday closing time matter?
Because 18:00 is three hours earlier than most of the week, and it is the day people most often fly away for a weekend. A Saturday evening departure can leave you with a lounge booking you cannot use. Check your departure time against that 18:00 before you book a Saturday.
Do you need to fly a certain airline to use the Newcastle lounge?
No. The Aspire lounges at Newcastle are open to anyone regardless of which airline you are flying or what class you booked.
What is included?
Complimentary food and drinks including beers, wines and spirits, free Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines, and business facilities.
