The Park4Travels affiliate program runs in two places: direct at park4travels.co.uk/affiliates and inside the Awin network. Both pay on the same UK airport-parking bookings. Direct pays you 5% gross. Awin pays you 5% gross too, minus Awin's ~30% network override — roughly 3.5% in your hand. Here is the honest comparison and when each makes sense.

When to choose direct

  • You're driving meaningful volume. If you push 20+ bookings a month through us, the 1.5 percentage points the network skims off the top stops being trivial. Direct keeps that money in your pocket.
  • You want to actually talk to someone. Direct goes to our team. Awin issues open a support ticket and queue.
  • You're not on Awin already. Why join a network just for one program? Skip it.
  • You want faster approval. Direct is same-day for most applicants. Awin layers two approvals: theirs, then ours.

When to choose Awin

  • You're already an Awin publisher. Adding us takes 30 seconds. You don't want a separate dashboard or another monthly payout to chase.
  • You consolidate income across many programs. If you run 15 affiliate programs through Awin and want one tax summary, one payout, one platform — keep us in there too.
  • You value Awin's reporting tools. Their click-to-conversion analytics are mature.
  • You publish in multiple countries. Awin handles currency conversion and international VAT cleanly.

Can you join both?

Yes — but only one tracks a given click. Whichever link the visitor clicked sets the cookie, and whichever cookie is on their browser when they book gets the credit. Last-click wins. Most publishers who run both pick one channel per campaign (e.g. Awin for round-up posts where they prefer consolidated reporting, direct for dedicated "Park4Travels review" pages where the higher rate matters most).

The maths on a real publisher

A travel blog driving 40 Park4Travels bookings a month at an average parking cost of £55:

  • Direct (5%): 40 × £55 × 5% = £110/month, £1,320/year
  • Awin (3.5% after override): 40 × £55 × 3.5% = £77/month, £924/year
  • Difference: £33/month, £396/year

That £396 is what Awin's consolidation and reporting tooling costs you. For most UK travel publishers, the direct route wins on take-home, and going through Awin only makes sense if you'd genuinely use the consolidation.

Frequently asked

Is the Park4Travels direct affiliate program legit?

Yes. Park4Travels Ltd is a UK-registered company (Companies House #16762547) running an in-house affiliate program for its airport-parking comparison site. Same merchant, same products, same booking flow as the Awin version.

What's Awin's actual override rate?

Awin charges merchants a per-transaction fee, typically around 30% of the commission paid to publishers. Merchants on Awin set their publisher rate with that fee in mind, which is why direct programs almost always pay better than network ones for the same merchant.

Does Park4Travels report Awin sales the same as direct?

Yes. Every booking attributed via the Awin click cookie reports to Awin in real time. Every booking via our direct cookie reports to your direct dashboard. No double-counting either way.

How do I switch from Awin to direct?

You don't have to switch — you can run both. If you want to migrate fully, apply at park4travels.co.uk/affiliates, get your new tracking code, and update your links. Existing Awin clicks still attribute through Awin for their cookie window, so you don't lose any in-flight earnings.

Do you pay both the Awin override AND the direct rate if a customer clicks both links?

No, only the last click wins under standard last-click attribution. So a given booking is attributed once: either to direct or to Awin, never both. We don't double-pay (and don't double-charge ourselves).
